Once you have decided on a program, review the important dates below regarding registration and application deadlines.

Aviation:

Registration deadline for PPL/CPL/RPP/IR/VFR ott/NR Licence/Rating	No deadline – Open year-round
PPL/CPL ground school – Fall registration deadline	August 15^th (Exceptions are made if registration is done before the course start date)
PPL/CPL ground school – winter registration deadline	January 15^th (Exceptions are made if registration is done before the course start date)
Aviation workshops/seminars registration deadlines:
– Cross country planning	TBA
– Written exam prep – air law	TBA
– Written exam prep – navigation	TBA
– Written exam prep – meteorology	TBA
– Written exam prep – general knowledge	TBA
– Flight test prep	TBA
– Elementary work – maintenance	TBA

Diploma programs:

Application deadline for Fall semester	No deadline – Open year-round
Application deadline for winter semester	No deadline – Open year-round
Application deadline for summer semester	No deadline – Open year-round

Students who register for the Diploma programs, or the Aviation programs, do not have specific registration deadlines. At Acadia College, students can register year-round and start their diploma any time of year. They are not bound to registration and application deadlines. We have created this flexibility to allow students, especially international students, to register at their earliest convenience. It will enable our students to begin their individual journey as soon as they arrive in Canada or as soon as their VISA’s or Study Permits are approved.
