Admission Policy

Policy:

Acadia College is committed to providing accurate information and guidance to prospective students to ensure they make informed decisions about their program of study Acadia College’s admission criteria are well publicized and applied consistently.  Entry assessment tools and admission requirements ensure students have the required language competencies (see Language Proficiency Assessment Policy), and the basic knowledge, skills and abilities to achieve program outcomes.  Admission requirements can’t be waived by neither the student nor Acadia College.

Students are provided with the following policies before entering into any contract, including a Letter of Acceptance and student enrollment contract:

    4. Dismissal Policy
    5. Admissions Policy
    6. Attendance Policy
    7. Program Outline
    8. Language Proficiency Assessment Policy (if applicable)

 

Procedure:

The admission process begins when prospective students contacting our flight school expressing interest in achieving goals of becoming a professional pilot.

The initial response to the prospective students’ email or telephone call will be conducted by our office administrator.  They will obtain the students’ name and contact information, and determine exactly what the student is seeking to achieve as well as the time frame.  After this has been determined, an interview, by telephone, in-person, or via e-mail will be arranged with our SEA, CEO, or Dispatch.

In this interview, Acadia College will explain the entire process for enrollment in a specific chronological order for the course applied for.  Course availability and price, contract and payment procedures, students’ obligations, and start and finish dates will be discussed.

With standardization of Acadia College’s Admissions Policy, each potential student will receive the same service, information and treatment.

In this interview, Acadia College will explain the entire process for enrollment in a specific chronological order for the course applied for.  First immigration concerns will be addressed, course availability, contract and payment procedures, students’ obligations, and start and finish dates.

With standardization of Acadia College’s Admissions Policy, each potential international student will receive exactly the same service, information and treatment.
